I bought this item to make treats for my husband and kids.
We are now waddling around full of waffles and syrup. it makes lovely pancakes too.

There is no fuss to this machine. Poor the batter in and close the lid. The waffles come right out without sticking. The only thing I discovered is that you don’t want to latch it shut because as the waffles cook and expand, it forces the top to open. I found that if I poor the batter in and just gently bring the lid down without latching it, it gives the top room to expand and they come out perfect every time. Takes about 4-5 minutes each time. A very good deal for the price!
